Business 101 Talk: Twice a month we talk about being business owners. We love to share with our audience what we have learned along the way and what we continue to learn.
Each month we will have two business episodes. On this one we will start at the beginning. You want to start your own business now what? Take a listen to what we feel are the first steps on your road to entrepreneurship.
You want to be an entrepreneur? Where do you start? How do you start? And what is our experience with starting businesses, I think this is the very first place most business owners get stuck. This is the point you either make it past or you don’t. And so often people don’t make it past this point.
So I’m excited to be tackling what’s the first step to take, what to do, and how to get rolling. Let’s address the first thing that a lot of times is rolling around an entrepreneur’s mind, typically there’s a passion that they have. They know what they want their business to be about, and then they have to choose a name and they have to figure out what to do. So I think the hard part is that there are so many first things to do that people don’t understand. So I’d like to look at this in different categories.
So what do you need to do for your own business to get started? What space do you need to be in to get started? What’s the first kind of administrative thing you need to do for your business and how do you even encapsulate the vision in the first place? So first you need to have your mind in the right space where you’re looking at your business.
