You are listening to Business, Besties, and Books. I am Pam Grice, and I’m here with my friend Teri Houghton. We so excited that you’re here. So, this is our first episode. This is us. Hello. We have never done a podcast together before. We are business besties, and we are here to talk to you all about our experiences with business, how we can help you grow your business.
We’re going to bring on some friends, some of our business besties to come chat with you about their experiences in business, share their wisdom with you, and then we’re also going to be sharing some of our favorite books for business and pleasure. So that’s what we’re all about. So today we’re going to start, we’re going to ask each other questions so you can get to know us a little bit, and we’re just going to go ahead and head in.
Pam, my first question for you is, tell me a little bit about your business. What do you do and who do you serve? Sure. So, my business is Pamela Grice Coaching, and I specialize in working with folks who feel like outsiders in the business world in the online space, who feel like they don’t quite fit in with the typical Instagram sweetheart is what I usually call it.
Or they’ve taken business courses before and didn’t feel like they fit in with the folks in their mastermind group or their coach wasn’t speaking to them. I really love misfits and outliers and people who feel a little bit lost in the world. They’re my people. I love them and, my goal is to help them find a place where they feel seen, heard, and celebrated, and I help them to grow a more profitable business while also taking care of themselves and not losing themselves in the process.
I love that, and you will do that. Thank you. So, tell me a little bit about what you do. So, my business is HougtonLLC and what I do is we help women entrepreneurs who are in need with backend help. We specialize in operations. So we help run their online classes, social media, newsletters, all the different things that make a business go forward, and then I have a team of virtual assistants behind me, and they’re in the day-to-day operations of our clients. Our big push is to help entrepreneurs get out of the day-to-day grind and to move forward so that they feel supported.
They feel like they have somebody who’s got their back and that they can do what they love. And you can’t do that when you’re tied down with administrative tasks. So that’s what my business is. It is women entrepreneurs is the group that I love to work with. I love to work with women who are dreamers and doers.
And just women looking to move themselves forward in this online business world. Nice. I love that. And I can tell you from experience that your help is invaluable. I just love that we’ve been able to work together, and you’ve been such a big help with my business and businesses of folks that I know as well.
I love that you have a busy business growing quickly, growing, and I know that comes with some growing pains. We’re both in that same place. But you also have a busy personal life. So, can you share with us a little bit about what a typical day looks like in the life of Teri Houghton?
